How to View an Instagram Story Anonymously on iPhone or iPad
This wikiHow will teach you how to anonymously view any user's Instagram story without showing up on their viewers list, using an iPhone or iPad. You can use in your internet browser or install the app from the App Store.
Part 1Viewing a Story with the Storiesig App
1You can use Safari, Firefox, Chrome or any other internet browser on your iPhone or iPad.
2//storiesig.com into the address bar. Tap the address bar at the top of your browser, and enter the StoriesIG URL here.
3This is a blue button in the lower-right corner of your screen. It will open the Storiesig website.
4Tap the "username" box under the "Instagram Stories Download" heading, and type the username of the person you want to view.
5It's in the lower-right corner of your screen. This will bring a list of all the matching users.
6This will open the selected user's current stories on a new page.

Part 2Viewing a Story with Story Reposter
1You can download it from the App Store. Reposter is a third-party app. It allows you to view and save any Instagram user's story posts to your iPhone or iPad's Camera Roll. If you're not sure how to download an app from the App Store, make sure to check out this article for detailed instructions.
2The Reposter icon looks like a white camera icon with two revolving arrows against a pink-and-yellow background. You can find it on your home screen or in an app folder.
3When you open the app for the first time, you'll see the "HELP" screen. Tap the blue CLOSE button at the bottom. You will only have to do this once when you open the app for the first time.
4The first time you open the app, you'll be prompted to allow access to your photos. Tap OK to proceed. This will allow the app to save pictures and videos to your Camera Roll. You will only have to do this once when you open the app for the first time.
5The text box in the middle of your screen reads "Type the name of the Instagram user." Tapping will open your keyboard in the bottom half of your screen.
6The username you enter here must exactly match their handle as it appears at the top of their Instagram profile. If you're not sure about the username, you can open the user's profile on Instagram, and find their username at the top of your screen.
7This button is in the lower-right corner of your screen. It will bring a list of all the matching results. Alternatively, tap the blue SEARCH button below the username field.
8This will open a list of all their current Instagram stories.
9You can select and view any of their picture or video stories here. This may first open a full-screen ad before you can view the story post. If this opens an ad, tap the "X" icon on the top-right or the bottom-left corner to close the ad page, and proceed to the selected story.
10This is a blue button with two white revolving arrows in it. It will open your story options on a pop-up menu.
11This will open your options on a new menu.
12This button looks like a downward arrow icon on a gray square at the bottom of the pop-up menu. This option will instantly save the selected story post to your iPhone or iPad's Camera Roll.
13Find and tap the icon on your home screen to open Photos.
14This button looks like two rectangles on a navigation bar at the bottom. You can view all your saved pictures and videos here.
15It should appear at the bottom of your Camera Roll here. You can tap on the saved image or video to view it in full-screeen.
